I'm Monica, and I'm 21. I currently reside in South Carolina, but I'm moving back to California this summer. As you can imagine, the South doesn't set the best example for weight loss and eating right. In fact, since I moved here last August, I gained 25 pounds. =(
I recently just started watching The Biggest Loser. Jillian is my favorite trainer on the show. She explains things in a way I can truly understand, and I can't tell you guys how refreshing that is. I think the best part about her and her philosophy on fitness is that she's tough because she cares about changing people's lives for the better. Her crazy antics have a purpose! Who knew! =P Like packerchc4 said, if I had the money, I'd go hire her! I'm not overweight in the slightest, I'm in the "slightly overweight" BMI category now, and that's enough of a wake up call for me to say, "Enough is enough!" I've had an on-off relationship with fitness since I graduated high school, and I think Jillian is my ticket to finally get the body I've been wanting for so long. I recently purchased her Black Pack DVD, and discovered it was the best buy, because it's the perfect combination but I needed some beginner DVDs, and wanted something that incorporated my interest in kickboxing as well. I'm thinking of buying the 30 Day Shred DVD once I'm at the intermediate level.
